Pets
We are passionate about pets and we are equally passionate about fostering positive and enjoyable relationships between pets and people. We have a purpose-built animal shed to house the smaller animals, all with free outdoor access with wonderfully enriched environments. Each area is designed so that children can go into the enclosures to interact with the animals, whilst keeping everyone safe and allowing the animals to move away if they are overwhelmed.
We also have three cats and a dog who all live in the house. The cats have free access to go in and out through their cat flap and their food is kept on a high worktop in a closed utility room so that the children can't get to it, unless participating in feeding them under supervision. Magic and Marble were kittens when Becky's eldest was a baby so they have grown up around children and are very calm and gentle around them.
Tilly is a young dog of unknown breeding, but thought to be a mix of collie, whippet and possibly even labrador! She joined the family in September 2018 as a 4 month old puppy, so again has largely grown up around children. She too is very gentle around children but we still never leave them unsupervised together, as we wouldn't with any dog. We often go on group walks with Tilly which the children enjoy as much as she does!
